What is the difference between USB 2.0 and USB 3.0?
USB 2.0 Memory: Speed 480 Mbit/s (60 MBytes/s)
USB 3.0 Memory: Speed 4.80 Gbit/s (600 MBytes/s)
As seen above, while USB 2.0 Drives have a bandwidth of 480 Mbit/s, USB 3.0 Drives have a bandwidth of 4.80 Gbit/s.
